Continuing from my last blog about my recent trip to New Mexico, today we move up north along
Happy National Bird Day! Considering the day today, it’s appropriate that I talked about my recent trip to the middle of the state and New Mexico Bird Migration. I drove down to the Socorro area and grabbed a hotel for a few nights. Then each morning I woke up early to arrive at the Bosque del Apache area well before sunrise so that I could scout the lighting, clouds and of course the birds in the area.
Earlier in the month I visited the Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge. This will be the third time I have been to the area in the past few years. The video above is from a few years ago capturing one of the more memorable sunrises I remember here.
