Phoenix Comicon 2017 Costumes and Coverage
Phoenix Comicon 2017
Just like that! Comicon has come and left Phoenix. The event was a great success. There may have been a bump in the road, but in the end, the event coordinators handled everything well and professionally, as expected.
I was lucky enough to be granted media credentials for the event, which allowed for me to grab some great photographs and even a few behind the scenes looks. The entire event lasted 4 days. Before it started, I thought to myself that I had plenty of time to roam the Phoenix Convention Center grabbing content. And then you blink, and the event is wrapping up. But this justifies how time can fly when having fun.
Some Great Costumes
All 4 days there was plenty of fantastic costumes! One of my favorites that I first saw on day 1 was the Corpse Bride.
Belle and Rumple made an appearance too over the weekend! And also reminded me that I need to keep watching Once Upon a Time. I loved the roses that Belle was carrying in her basket. I felt it was a great final touch to the costume. Rumple’s hair (and glitter) were spot on.
Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 is in theaters now, so what would Phoenix Comicon 2017 be without Yondu and Gamora?
Deadpool and Harley Quinn (lots of versions) have been very popular costumes the past 2 years. Here’s Harley Quinn from one of my recently favorite video game series, Injustice.
In Suicide Squad movie, Harley Quinn takes a lot of the spotlight, but let’s not forget about another female character who held her own as well. This woman perfected her Enchantress cosplay, complete with the perfect pose.
I hope you enjoyed some of my favorite costumes. Phoenix Comicon 2017 was tons of fun, and I am looking for to 2018!
